The Center mourns the loss of Professor Dennis Trout of the University of Missouri. Professor Trout was an Arthur E. and Elizabeth S. Gordon fellow in the Center during the summer of 2019 while working on his proposed book, Monumental Verse: Poetry, Cityscape, and Authority in Late Ancient Rome. He was a pleasure to have with us, and we extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and colleagues.
