News of our students: Gabriel Fuchs
Gabriel Fuchs, a doctoral candidate in the Department of Greek and Latin, gave a paper at the Texts and Contexts conference in October 2010 on his research on the renaissance reception of Ovid. In May, 2011, he delivered a paper on the Renaissance reception of Ovid's exilic poetry in Germany at the International Conference on Medieval Studies, Kalamazoo. In 2011 Gabe was the recipient of the Geoffrey Woodhead Award for the best paper written in a course offered in the Department of Greek and Latin in 2010-2011.
