Dr. Sophia Bönisch-Meyer, postdoctoral researcher at the Commission for Ancient History and Epigraphy of the German Archaeological Institute in Munich, is an Arthur E. and Joyce S. Gordon fellow at the Center.

During her stay at the Center for Epigraphical and Palaeographical Studies she will be working on an article on the role of the Greek cities and the impact of their local traditions for the representation of the Roman emperor in the Black Sea region.
